Friction Stir Welding (FSW) Tool Set, FS1, Size 1-3

The MEISTERFABRIK FS1 Friction Stir Welding Tool Bundle consists of three tools in the FS1 series, covering different weld depths. The bundle includes Size 1, Size 2, and Size 3. Each tool is manufactured from H13 tool steel using precision machining and is designed for compatibility with standard manual and CNC milling machines that use conventional tool holders. No specialized force control systems are required.

Bundle Contents

•  FS1 Size 1: Designed for weld depths up to 3 mm.

•  FS1 Size 2: Designed for weld depths up to 6 mm.

•  FS1 Size 3: Designed for weld depths up to 8 mm.

Technical Characteristics

The tools are intended for friction stir welding of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Friction stir welding is a solid-state joining process that relies on frictional heat and mechanical stirring. This method generally produces welds with reduced distortion and shrinkage relative to conventional fusion welding techniques and does not require shielding gas or filler material.
